Check Serial Number For Cartier

Hello, I find out this info on Ebay and its not 100% accurate: (please read my reply) 1. Always check the serial number on the glasses Cartier has a seven digit serial number that usually starts with a three(well from the authentic pairs I've seen it has always started with a three) 2. Once you see the serial number call Cartier at 5 and read of the serial number and make sure the glasses are as described. Make sure the glasses are at a decent price usually if you see a pair of Cartier glasses under $200 then they are not real, but some are not real that cost that much 4. All the newer authentic Cartier glasses come with a black hard case, usually the fakes have a soft leather pouch to carry the glasses in instead of a hard case, so look for the black hard case or a brown leather hard case for the older ones. Look at the screws on the glasses. Cartier has little metal round screws not plastic 6.

Look for an authenticy booklet but this does not always mean much. I have seen plenty of fake Cartier glasses with all the paper work so don't be fooled. If you see a big serial number on the glasses then they are fake.

Cartier always has the serial finely engraved somewhere on the glasses very small and fine and its usually hard to see. Wake up preschoolers. These are all the tips I have for spotting the fakes and there is only one store I know of on Ebay with real Cartier Glasses and that is the store entitled cartier glasses. My Reply: I'll recommend you to visit www.cartier.com or a Cartier Boutique to compare or to find out about the serial number.

The 1-800 phone number posted doesn't provide that service. Yes, serial number are 7 digits but they not always begins with 3; on Cartier website some start with T or CA and then the serial number beginning with number 6 or 8. Daag movie rajesh khanna

You can check the serial number with Cartier here: Cartier. Selling Your Preowned Cartier. The following is a Cartier check list as well as a searchable Cartier serial number. Or watch appraisal. I purchased an authentic Cartier watch several years ago on eBay from a seller with very high feedback. Though I noticed there were scratches on the underside of the watch, the seller included detailed pictures on the original listing advising that the watch was not stolen.

Cartier has over 250 different design and all have different materials. The serial number must be on the bridge and on one side of the inner of the temple (on that same temple should have Made in France CE and serial number) The logo symbol on the nose pads; copyright symbol Cartier Paris and the temple size number, name on the inner of the temple. Last but not least, SOME design has at the end of the temple a little plate with Cartier logo outside. I hope this info will help! Thanks, Designer20/20.

NOnly if its registered, that depends on when it was made, when it was sold, who sold it -dealer or private sale- and what state it was sold in. To check your state may have records- usually thru the state police or thru BATF (federal) nIf if has been sold privately once or more your local police may run it for you nIf you are looking for manufacturing info contact the manufacturer- or a gun value guide. What do you want to check? If you are in a state (or country) that requires registration, a law enforcement official can probably find out who owns it, but an ordinary citizen can't. For some manufacturers and models, it is possible to find the approximate date of production from the serial.

But a firearm serial number is not like a car's VIN number with a paper trail of each owner's registration. I specialize in buying and selling Cartier watches. I've seen fakeswith all the correct marks and a serial number, but that doesn'tmean they are legitimate. If the watch was registered by Cartierwhen it was sold or if it has been sent in to Cartier for serviceCartier will be able to verify it is aut hentic, but be aware thatif the watch was not originally sold in North America or was notregistered when sold (fairly common) it can still be authentic. Some sellers offer the Cartier quartz model for sale and only statethat the watch has a quartz movement, but fail to mention if it hasa Cartier quartz movement. If it has a replacement movementin it the watch is technically authentic, but not original and isnot worth as much as one with an original or a genuine Cartierreplacement movement. The biggest mistake I've seen amateur Cartierbuyers make is using the Cartier micro-script signature on theRoman numeral to verify authenticity.

Indeed this is a goodindicator, but not the best indicator as there were many Cartierwatches produced prior to the technology required to make themicro-script possible and not all Cartier watches have Romannumerals for the dial to have the micro-script signature.Furthermore, the micro-script is not always located at the sameplace and if the dial has been refinished it may not appear at all.Another common problem is actually caused by language differences,i.e. 'all original versus 'authentic'. A watch can be authenticwithout being all original. Unless someone has owned the watchsince it was new and it has never left their sight it is impossiblefor them to state the watch is 'all original' as a part could havebeen replaced at some point in time -- even without theirknowledge. Your best bet is to buy from a reputable seller even ifyou have to pay slightly more money. I want to buy a Cartier watch yes its online, I want to find out how can I find if its a fake? This person has givin me the serial NUMBERS so this makes me feel a little better BUT, you can never be to safe.
