View the SIM Card Number - Samsung Galaxy S® III. From a home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right). From the APPS tab, tap Settings. From the SYSTEM section, tap About device. View the ICCID (SIM ID). You can also remove the SIM card and view the 20-digit SIM card number (with the gold contacts facing away).
The Thinkpad X1 Carbon has built-in 4G which takes a Micro-SIM card. After getting a Micro-SIM, I was told to call in to activate it. The network operator though requires an IMEI number and refuses to make the Micro-SIM active without it. 
There is no IMEI number anywhere on my laptop, its box or the documentation.
How can I query Windows 7 to return IMEI. Tried to look in the Device Manager and the output from IPCONFIG but I cannot find it. I have the MAC addresses which were also on the box but no IMEI.
Your ICCID is your SIM card's 19-digit identification number. You'll need to be able to locate this number for activating your SIM, troubleshooting, and topping up. The number is printed on the back of your SIM, but you can also find it in your phone's settings. Here's how: iPhone: • Tap Settings > General > About. • The 19-digit ID number on your SIM will be listed beside ICCID.
Android: • Press Menu and select Settings. • Scroll down and click About. • Click Phone Identity (or Status, depending on your Android model) • Click IMEI information • The 19-digit ID number on your SIM will be listed under ICCID or SIM ID. If you can't find your ICCID by following these instructions, you will need to remove your SIM card from your device to look at the 19-digit ICCID printed on the back of it. Windows Phone: • Select Settings. • Select About. • Select More Information.
